MEPS’s head of research has over 30 years’ experience working in the steel industry. His early interest in science resulted in an opportunity to enter the steel industry at a young age. After seven years' experience in metallurgy, Stuart moved into steel sales, working for large stockists and steel mills in South Africa, a role he fulfilled for the following 23 years. When Stuart made the decision to move to the UK, his ancestral home, his breadth of steel industry experience made him a perfect addition to MEPS’s steel market research department.
