Kevin Wong has been working at MEPS since 2008 and has more than two decades of experience in researching the steel, copper, and aluminium industry. A former financial analyst for HSBC, Kevin holds both a degree in Economics and a master’s degree in international economics from the University of Essex. He joined MEPS from his previous role as a consultant with CRU, where he focussed on researching and analysing the wire and cable markets. At MEPS, Kevin gathers information from contacts across the world in a research role which spans carbon steel and semi-finished steel products.

On weekends you’ll find me either running a marathon or gardening. My biggest achievement was getting back to running shape after a series of neck operations.
