Kaye Ayub
Head of Price Analysis & Forecasts
Born and raised in Sheffield – the UK’s ‘Steel City’ and the home of MEPS – Kaye showed an aptitude for numbers at an early age. Kaye studied Business Mathematics at university and has a strong background in data modelling and forecasting. Before joining MEPS in 2006, she worked at Outokumpu, contributing to business improvement and optimisation projects in the steel sector.
Her main post-graduate project included implementing an innovative stock management system based on mathematical forecasts of future steel sales. This system maximised warehouse efficiency and began her career in stainless steel forecasting.
With this strong background in mathematics and business, Kaye has applied her analytical expertise and market knowledge to deliver accurate and reliable forecasts at MEPS. She values MEPS’ collaborative culture and the supportive environment that enables the team to thrive.

I like swimming, exploring the Peak District National Park with my family, as well as watching and playing football. I also love spending time with our friends and their families over cocktails, wine, and beer.
